Replacing starter, 2005 Chevy Malibu V6, also applies to 1999-2007 Malibu, Impala and Monte Carlo V6. Labor is 0.8 hours.
NOTE: Before replacing the starter, assume the battery is bad and have it tested first and then swap in a good battery and try to start your car. If it starts then the battery is bad. If it does not, it could be the starter that is bad but you also need to check your fuses and relays if they are good.
