I wonder if you can use these to change the offset on the rustler 2wd the front and rear are offset I just bought the wide a arms and camber a toe links to compensate for the offset.Im thinking if I use those 17mm hex extensions now it would make it hella wide.
Hi, can you help me ? My old e savage is still working fine, but it has 14 mm hex hubs( factory ) and I can t find the right wheels; I m not sure if I must buy a converter to 17 mm for example, or just change the actual nuts to 17 mm ; thanks a lot ( it has a 5mm axle)
Why the heck. You replaced the thing but never actually put anything on it so we still don’t know how they work. I thought it was going so good. Then it’s like you just stopped, half way through, and nothing.
Will these work on a Traxxas rustler 4x4 vxl? I can't find shit for the thing I want some big wheels and can't find 17mm hex hubs for a rustler 4x4......I want orange and can't find any color though do you know where I can go? Thanks bud
The hot racing adapters will work you won’t find them them in orange but they have red....I have them on my rustler with the arma infraction wheels....on a spectrum motor & esc 80a (3s)... 50 tooth spur 21 tooth pinon....I hit around 60mph
Why at about 6:50-6:54 it looks like your hex adapter isn’t all the up against the axle pin meaning not installed right? I find it even more strange being that you were able to screw the middle Allen wrench screw all the way.
Does anybody know the best way to remove the threadlock from the adapter threads? Traxxas puts a lot of threadlock on the adapters, and it made it very difficult to tighten the outer wheel nuts.
hey im having problems with my 4wd truck i cant get my tires to spin when i tighten the tire nut how can i fix that do i need a washer if i di where do i need to out it cuz i have no idea the wheel keeps locking up its a volcon btw
Jiggly puffs that could mean that the pin is missing and when you tighten it the hex is getting pushes against the hub Carrier, causing it to bind up. Replace the pin in the hex and it should solve this issue. (I know it's a bit late but others may have the same issue :)
X-FLIGHT101 I already figured it out but thankyou i also want to know i want to doo a mod like this for my 4wd 1/10 truck to make it wider but i want to use the stock tires where can I find hex that will make it wider and that i can use stock tires
