same thing with me , belt keeps coming off ?

Replaced belt and when I turn it it slips off what could be the problem

I just ordered for a belt for Hotpoint WMXTF842GUK. Though I haven't replaced the belt, my concern is the possibility of the belt slipping off the pulley; no supporting edges to hold the belt on the axis continuously hence, the possibility of slipping off... just my concern!

Older models way better than today modals more room to move about changes the design make it more difficult

A line middle of the pully line on it put the belt on it gently pull it motor wheel here a tick noise tension has to be perfect

Done that. And the new belt keeps comming off the pooley

I took the original belt off a machine to replace it, and it was about 10mm smaller than the size they were selling for it. Any idea why this might have been?

It's not as easy as that when using a brand new belt.
