Good instruction. Ok Big question. I noticed the old one I replaced had a white grease covering the switches assy that came in constant contact /some repeated friction when being used .The grease was white and reminded me of electrical grease or teflon hitch ball lube. Which should I use on the new assy? Might want to add a explanation for those that have no experience( like me and my wife, even more so) with the plugs of this type and also being sure they tuck the wires in exactly like they took them out. Mine did a double twist and and a back flip.to fit in the limited space. Any other way could have caused extra tension that I thought could become a problem some time in the distant future. I noticed most just said press and pull or disconnect. Ours were so tight,I was afraid of breaking something,as usually happens with things. My electrical connections were abit confusing for me in that I have zero experience with them. I was so afraid of breaking the little tabs or other weaker parts I was tugging pressing etc. I tried for a half hr to disconnect them Eventually I got water pump pliars on the male end of things and same on the female part. I had to have someone depress the tab,i guess you could call it. Well it took two of us . 1 to depress the tab piece and hold the work and me to hold the body with waterpump pliars and rock back and forth to loosen each male plug. Well something of that order. Everything was so tight I was sure i would snap any tabs etc even worse slip and accidentally disconnect a wire that was attached.
