How To Replace the Door Handle On A Washing Machine 

Just used your video to help with replacing my washing machine door handle. So straight forward. Delighted I have small tool box under my sink. Thank you.

for anyone struggling to rebuild the mechanism and threading through the pin. just build the handle, spring and pin. Put a small piece of cotton down through the hole and tie it tight. Put the lot back into the door and push the pin through. Worked like a charm after 30 minutes of titting about.

You missed out the part where the springs have to be tensioned across to make the handle bounce. We spent ages trying to sprag it through the crack with a thin strip of metal, till we found someone in the know who "pushed across from one side"? (we didn't see them do it) so it's great you made a free video, but 'simply reassemble' didn't cover it :(

Indesit WIN 600 washing machine, lock LED is always RED ON, not blinking, but steady RED ON, and Could not close door using door handle!? Could you please help me...Thanks in advance

The handle was pulled hard so there is a slight crack. The lock etc. are inorder. Can the latch be patched so that the slight crack which might tear further on use can be mend.The frontload machine being an old model am not getting the latch in India unless can locate it in the junk mkt. Rest of the machine is fine,

Ok so I bought an fit the new door handle but the door is still not closing tight . also fit new mechanism on inside what am I doing wrong

I took the door off by the hinge that attaches to the machine now it won't go back on as the screws are not biting

i wish my boyfriend was as good with his hands as you are :)..he broke the handle trying to open the machine--on filling cycle because he found a sock he wanted to put in..i will make him watch your video..he may suprise me and actually be able to repair it..and thank you for your video Hansom Spares...:)
