The belt fell off our hoover dynamic next washing machine and the repair people aren’t coming until Monday so I want to put it back on I’ve done it on my great auntie’s and my auntie’s hotpoint and indesit they’re still running up to this day indesit I believe is 14 years old and the hotpoint I think it’s 16 years old never did it on hoover

can you help? I have bought a replacement as the driver belt keeps pressing into the machine, causing friction and the drum not to spin. I have put the new one on and I am having the same problem. Is there any advice to stop this happening?
