How to install a Sprint Air Filter in 2020-2022 BMW S1000XR
FYI: I do not recommend the air filter, because the top and bottom filter frame is loose and it doesn't seal the air filter box, beside after one short ride in the neighborhood, the air box was full of dust, and that is a NO NO.
This video shows how to replace the original equiped O.E. ‪@BMWMotorradUSA‬ air filter part number @13729444643 with a sprint air filter P08 part number PM171S.

Thanks for posting- glad to see this is straightforward... did you get a chance to do a ride video, curious if the induction sound changed any?

I test rode it, and I can definitely hear the air induction sound especially over 6k rpm, the air filter added little extra of thrills and excitements to the ride and a lot of dust inside the air box. Unfortunately I removed and returned and I kept the original air filter.

White dust picked up from the roads. It was not oily.

All I noticed after 40 miles ride, that my airbox is full of dust, so I removed the sprint filter returned it and placed a new O.E. BMW filter. I don't recommend the Sprint filter. FYI. I heard about this issue from a few riders but I didn't believe them at first until I checked my airbox after one ride.
