I show how to replace the trimmer line on a Green Machine cordless string trimmer. Cut the trimmer line about 12 feet long and it can range from .063 to .095 inches in diameter.

I put off adding new string for weeks because I dreaded it. I then tried to do it in the way I presumed it should be done and after about 30 minutes gave up. I then found your video and finished the job in about 30 seconds. Thank you.

Yours turned counterclockwise to wind in the string so much easier than mine. It was a nightmare. Have to push then turn, push then turn. Definitely the worst string replacement if any weed eater I’ve had.

Just wanted to say thanks very much for the video. My neighbor has a 60v Toro with the exact same set-up. Once I saw the white plastic spool with the “tunnel” for line feed I knew it was the same!

Why won't my trimmer line go all the way through and come out the other side? It just stops when I try and put it through.

Hi, you have to have the head lined up properly and push the line in at an angle to get it through. Sometimes it takes an adjustment of the head or the angle you are pushing.

I like it, but it is a bit cumbersome to load and doesn't hold a lot of string. It's hard to tell how much you can load so I usually end up wasting some and have to cut it when it will no longer turn. Maybe it's the string im using

My bump knob stopped working- and pushing those buttons in is nearly impossible- my version you have to remove it and re-string. So I decided my trimmer is crap. Pro-green ST60L04 ST60L254

@@porks875 Yeah, but I have the one in the video and it in no way just turns counterclockwise as easily as his does. Not even close to as easy. Mine seems defective if it’s supposed to turn as easily as his.
