What Allen key fits them bolts for the cover for the carb? Can’t find nothing to fit it

i took the whole assembly off as one piece not to replace cable but i thought it would be simpler to take carb off that way without having to disconnect cables from carb end. learned it would not fit without more dissassembly. anyways i put it back on bars now it sticks wide open. when i keep it off the bars and test it it snaps back perfectly i have the black split bushing placed where yours is still no change what do i do ?>

@@vegasromaniac u didnt even read not awesome.. my throttle is stuck now not sure why. and i should of have just done it your way mine was a pain in the ass

@@Xiferr i meant that awesome sarcastically, i hate when that happens, but i cant help you with a comment, i would take everyting off and see whre it snags , something its not routed properly , and it gets pinched , but i need ot see it to be able to help , and if the bike would in in my garage i would literallly take it off and reisntall it

I have same problem!… I think it’s routing. I’ve done everything one at a time and it’s ok… but as soon as I put it together all at once it’s fahked

Definitely a routing issue or bent snagged cable

man i installed my new cables,lubed them and once put on the throttle tube i have almost no return? any ideas? i can throttle down but it dosent twist back up?

Snagging somewhere does it pull easy?

@@vegasromaniac the two cables pull smoothly when not attached to the throttle tube. Once I attach the cables and clamp them down. Pull the throttle back but no return I have to manually push the throttle back to rest position. Its deff rubbing. I'm thinking it's the throttle tube itself I bought it new but aftermarket part.

@@craziestruby28 yes. Kinda embarrassing on my end I had my handle bars turned all the way to the left and the cable wasn't secured all the way down so the extra slack was getting snaged against the forks and the frame. But I fixed it.

This issue I am having is the cable it’s self won’t thread out of my carb side the top cable ofcoure ! Any idea how to get it out seems like ived tried it all no luck! I ended up cutting it just to pull carb off and still can’t get it out

I did this and carby hangs open I can’t get them to work smooth.

@@vegasromaniac you would think… but I tell you I routed it one section at a time and tested as I went, but once I get it to the bar it sticks… it’s like the 3rd bend in the cable is one too many
