@@Josegarcia-jb7bn yes! A defective brake booster can cause a vacuum leak and cause a lean condition and trigger code p0171!

Bad cylinder. Your brake pedal sinks to floor easily without much brake pressure

Add brake fluid and one open bleeding valve in brakes. Next press brake pedal 100 times and suddenly brakes fly throught bleeding hole.

Seems kinda smell I love Toyota but Honda does suspension tuning better and it seems like they make their brake booster is larger for a better pedal feel.

I'm trying to replace break power booster. But from driver seat, very hard to get to those 4 bolts. How do I remove the plastic cover panel under the steering wheel? I found 2 screw on left and right bottom and removed those. And used a flat screw drive try to ply open the plastic cover from top. But doesn't work. I can not find any youtube about this problem.

Depending on your car year and model, mine is a 2004 Corolla and to be able to do the clutch master cylinder, I have to remove the brake/booster assembly and for the easy of access still not that easy I removed the dash board in the car which is a several hours job but it was near to impossible to get good access with the dashboard in place as my car does not have modular panels, other cars have this feature making it easier to get access from the drivers side. My engine is still out of the bay almost ready to go back in, this also helps.

@@fireyourrocketts Thanks for the reply! Your video is very helpful. I have replaced my master cylinder, brake booster, charcoal canister all together. Couple days ago, I test drive my car and the brake is fixed. I bleed all 4 wheels once, and I thought I messed up and introduced air bubble back into the brake line. But the test drive was good, brake good. Is the brake system designed to allow some air bubble and still function?

@@kimballwang137 You meant Peter, he is the one that made this video, not me, LOL, that said, the break system would function with some air on it but it may fail you also; the system is not designed to work with air on its lines, only fluid which functions is hydraulic pressure provided by vacuum force to actuate the pistons in the calipers and the fluid would also collect moisture in the lines which in time needs to be recycle with new fluid for optimal operation; I am not a mechanic but this was explained to me by a certified mechanic. Hope it helps.
