Replaced the string using this video and it felt so good I had to go out and trim for the heck of it. Neighbors got the dorky electric trimmers. Had to wake the neighborhood up with my gas trimmer 👍
I had to come check this out. This way came to me in a dream last night. Been taken that cap off for 20 years. Never thought there was another way. Man have I been stupid.
The R is what goes into the head facing up the L should be facing the ground when in motion that way when you load the trimmer line it will hold the line correctly and release when bumped I hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
If the string outside of the trimmer head gets too short, it can return back into the trimmer head. It cloud be that you may have it strung incorrectly causing this issue, make sure you have the right size trimmer line for your string trimmer.
It all depends on your weed trimmer make and model and size trimmer line but I usually run 10 ft to 20 ft of line on my weed trimmer. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
First make sure you do have string inside the trimmer head and that it is not melted together or twisted around the spool in a manner that stops more from being dispensed. Next ensure you have wound the trimmer string in the proper manner and direction that your specific trimmer head calls for. Make sure you have the right size trimmer line if your trimmer line is too big it could get stuck. I hope this answers your question.
