MY 5907V REMOTE (SIMILAR TO THIS ONE) HAD NO DISPLAY AND WOULDN'T ARM/DISARM, KIND OF WEIRD IT OBVIOUSLY HAD A CHARGE BECAUSE IT WOULD BEEP, I FIGURED MAYBE IT NEEDED TO BE RESET, PULLED THE BATTERY, WAITED A FEW SECONDS, RE-CONNECTED THE BATTERY AND BINGO! WORKING AGAIN

Hi I’ve subscribed I need your advice The USB port snapped on mine and it cannot be repaired I’m Not going to buy a new fob as mine is mint Now what alternative charger can I plug straight into this battery to just charge it up and then put inside remote I’m struggling there must be a charger to charg this battery direct look forward to reply subscribe and good video btw

The piezo speaker inside has a contactor arm that will separate when its dropped. Its built into the back cover and looks like a cracker with a metal backer. The arm needs to be ever so slightly bent to touch the square pad on the PCB when its closed and the paper looking part on the speaker at the same time. This has a very small margin so attempt at your own risk, youre working with a lithium battery nearby after all. It it possible it becomes damaged if this is done incorrectly enough.

If youre not comfortable, take it to a professional or just replace the remote if it bothers you enough.
