Decided to do my first video about reselling pokemon cards and investing pokemon cards. I'm a 7 year reseller with great knowledge to make money online. I'll show you some tips reselling pokemon card singles.

cool video! Just a tip but you have to be careful with buying singles from tcgplayer to grade. Not always but alot of the time people sell off their cards they know wont grade 10s and keep the really mint copies and grade them themselves. Its a pretty common thing

still worth it imo i made some pretty good sale thank to tcg single NM i was able to get gade 9.5 or 10, some card are just dirty

@confessions721 thank you so much! I've been doing amazon for years, but i enjoy pokemon cards, so I try to apply in the pokemon sector. Hopefully help investors or someone trying to get rid of their collection. At the same time, I just love enjoy pokemon cards, so getting my highest collection dollar back is on amazon for sure. Is it worth buying cards and going through the process of grading the cards then selling them if you think they can receive a high grade? Is that a profitable way or is it not worth the hassle?

@mubinalkhafaji1140 I actually never tried to grade cards for reselling. It's usually a gamble and more research for me to resell. Tried to keep the process simple and buy raw or sealed products. Vs trying to inspect a single and think you'll get a 10 to resell. It's possible, just not experience to do that.

Easy buy psa 6 or 7 slabs and bust them out of the case. You’ll make money, ad naseum.

How did you get approved to sell Pokémon cards? Amazon request an invoice stating you bought 10+ items from a distributor. How did you get approved to buy from a distributor?

@noahherron6157 great question! Sometimes amazon requests proof, such as invoice or receipt. The approval process for specific brand is automated by a bot. As long as you keep sending in a brand request, it'll eventually go through. Best way is to get a invoice from a distributor, which you'll need to be a register business on the state and federal level. Every state is different to register, fyi

I'm looking at getting started on selling amazon, is it easy as an independent seller like ebay? What are the fees and everything like. I'm interested to know more and would like to see it from you in a video!

Selling amazon has been amazing to me. I first started in ebay and decided to make the switch to amazon after 1 year. I do still sell on ebay, but amazon is my main source. Fees are def higher on amazon, but the uncharged on listing are amazing most of the time if you find profitable products. I'll def make more informative video in this channel about selling pokemon cards! Cheers

As weird as it sounds, I’m gonna sell on Etsy. Make it a nice store and only sell PSA graded cards. Why Etsy? They only charge 6% in fees. eBay is 16%. TCG is 20%.

@johndina4493 there's always going to be a negative side selling on one of those auction sites due to fees. If you're an average person, just want to get into reselling without the need to market yourself or brand, than you have to accept the fact of fees. Ive been doing this for 8 years, and living well without the need to market myself as a brand

Amazon ebay and tcgplayer are great platform to sale your duplicate. Amazon just a great place to make more profit. Glad it helped!

One thing you missed that really needs mentioned is that you will also be taxed on your profits by the government

Of course tax will be included if you have a business. can't cover everything in one vid. If you're a serious business, you'll have to deal with income tax

Hey man amazing video!! I have actually been selling on Amazon for a while now and pokemon singles never ocurred to me as something I could sell. One thing I worry about is inauthentic claims. These can be triggered just from an unhappy customer wanting a return and will cause Amazon to request receipt or invoices from an authorized distributor for your product. This is why you can’t really buy something off ebay to sell on Amazon, but I don’t know if it works differently for TCG singles. Have you encountered this before and if so, what evidence did you use?

Hello! Sorry for late reply I've been a reseller with many different products. With pokemon cards on amazon, I haven't got a authentication issue. The worse thing is customer opening products and returning where I have to bite the lost... sadly. I sell alot, so losing a small amount doesn't compare to the larger profit I make every month.

@Julnlecs86 yes, I think I mention there's other fees associated but not going into details. A month for $40vand you're selling 30 cards a day as an example, it's worth it. I'll def going over it in a video, but hey, some people don't take the step to sell on amazon
