thank you for the tip it works on my yukonxl 2001 i no longer have to paid $40 to jiffy lube or $50 to the dealer i had bad service at those places now do myself

this Maybe be the correct way.. But I have the same thing and It will blink 3 times and then Turn off anyways.. But will then Come back on again If you have not reset it.. I havent Reset It Yet but plan to Do the oil change on her Tomorow

Reset engine oil life to 100% on 2004 Cadillac Deville DTS 1) turn ignition to on position (do not start car) 2) press info button until current engine oil life is displayed 3) press & hold reset button, XXX% engine oil life will be displayed, then current engine oil life will be displayed, then 100% engine oil life will be displayed (this all takes about 5 seconds) 4) release reset button, turn ignition off & remove key, your done (oil should be changed between 30% and 15% oil life left)
