Bro I don't know how to bless you. This your tutorial video made may day and life been happen. I was able to open me router through this video God bless you❤❤❤
Thank you 🙏 I lost my password 2 years ago and the router has been lying unused ever since. Now I will be able to use it again. Thank you very much for the technical support 😄
Yes @MadNet12, you can connect the device via a USB cable and install the preloaded application that comes with the device (you should see a red Vodaphone application that will either load automatically or on your my computer). It will be recognized as a modem and therefore you will not need to use it as a hotspot wifi access point.
Hello Mr Serge. When ever i connnect the router with my Personal computer it go straight to the Router setting page and i should chamge the Password. But when ever i type the passwords on my PC it says invalid RSA Public key. And fron there i can't do anthing else.
Hi Mr Thompho. This could be because the SIM card’s network isn’t being detected or there are some bad configurations that are affecting the device. My advise is that you factory reset the router first, then try and connect the the PC and go ahead with the configurations. Remember you need to set your APN as well as change the default password for some devices. Good luck.
Hey i just bought a "mobile wifi 4G Lte" router from TAKEALOT and it's giving me headaches, when I activate it the the signal light thing is always red and when I check for it's default gateway there is none can you help or should I return it?
hi @bonginkosi, remove the battery and use the IP address as the default gateway, it should look like number in the format of 192.168.1.8 or similar. instead of the default gateway, type in that IP address (the one at the back or your modem under the battery) and it should take you to the configuration page.
@Bonginkosi, start by factory resetting it as the default IP address might have been changed. After the factory reset, use the default IP address and default username and password to reconfigure it.
@Bonginkosi, kindly watch these videos and you should be able to sort out the modem. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jKTljcpMlP0.html&lc=Ugyco5ohUamIdOLNi2t4AaABAg ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FkvAvRH33kg.html
Hi Manji. You will have to do a manual hard reset first. Look for that button either at the back or on top of your router depending on the type of router that you are using. Then after successfully resetting it, connect to that router using either a USB cable or WiFi and type in the IP address of that router. The password will be at the back of your device’s cover. check out this viceo ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jKTljcpMlP0.html
Hi Trust Maidasteven. Most of the time it's due to misconfigurations or corrupts files. Try to reset the mobile Wi-Fi modem to the factory settings then reconfigure it.
Hi @Catman Gaming, yes there is a way to do that on a Iphone. under settings -->Mobile Data -->Mobile Data Network you will have aptions for APN, username and passwords and all the other settings
Hi @Sibusiso, once connected to the device, type in the IP address of the device which is normally 192.168.1.1 and use the default username and the default password. Please watch this video for more details if you do not have the default username and password ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jKTljcpMlP0.html
Hi @Inge van Wyk. the default password will be admin or Admin but if yours have been changed from the default one, it will defer. and in this case, you will need to reset the device to the factory settings then used admin as password. For the default WIFI password, look at the sticker at the back on the device
Hi Eustine. You will have to restore it to the factory settings, then configure it under your name or *WiFi* name and your own password. _This video should assist you with how to do it._
that is an indication that it might be locked to one network only. You may need to tried different network service providers to see which one works for you.
I have a problem where it doesn't want to save the pin! every time it ask to sign into network and then I do and say save password but it just restarts and ask again and again
Hi @John bayo.. sorry for my late response. blocking a specific device from accessing your Wi-Fi is helpful when you do not want some people to access your network. This vary from one modem to another one. On a Vodafone mobile Wi-Fi you will have to block the MAC address of that specific device. Under settings, first check the connected devices and copy the MAC address of that someone's device. (Media Access Control (‘MAC’) address is a unique number identifying a specific hardware device). After copying the MAC address, go to WIFI -->MAC Settings and enable MAC filtering on your Mobile Wi-Fi Router. All Authorized devices will be able to access your WIFI. other device will not. I hope this answers your question

Hi Timothy, unfortunately that sounds like a water damage that is common on some electronics devices when they fall into water, especially if your one was on . Could you tell us what you did after pulling it out of that water?
