The Vin number has letters in it, there's no way to enter this

This would mean that anyone could copy down your vin number and get on the internet to gat the code. That would be a security risk if true.

How do you reset the aftermarket Ford keyless pad that is bought through the parts dept. This keypad is a stick on which has a small battery inside the keypad.. the car came with this aftermarket Ford part. No one knows how to reset it😞
