Tapping the Melee button also resets the tac sprint but it completely stops all forward motion and seems like it takes longer to transition back to sprint. It will also wears down your thumb stick if you are on default configuration causing eventual stick drift. Using the diving method gives u faster forward motion and makes you a harder target to hit when you are being aimed at.
Don't worry. It will be funny seeing doing it in a month when people start to breakdown the best movement mechanics. Same thing that happened with slide cancelling in MW 2019 and Warzone 1
I tested it and it's just as fast as regular sprinting and tac sprint for me. I found I can clear a distance 5% faster by tac sprinting into a jump into a walk for about 3/4 of a second into another tac sprint and repeating. Make sure every time you tac sprint it's only for about half of your stamina so you won't run out over longer distances and you always have tac sprint at about 50% if you get ambushed. Gotta find the perfect rhythm to maximize effect.
This is already fixed. That wasn't very good anyway. The animation is too slow, so you lose speed and the movement is not continuous like in wz1 😅😅 I very miss rebirth island and the warzone movement 🥺🥺
I use automatic tac sprint because it makes it easier and smoother to start sprinting. Plus it saves your left stick from stick drift because you're not pressing it in over and over. The only thing is with auto tac sprint enabled you have to press the jump button to stand up from prone.
@@KickRocksGamingChannel this is partially true. So auto tac sprint does tac sprint when pushing the stick forward when not prone. However still pressing sprint whenever prone adds speed to this. This was also true in Warzone 1. Aydan would talk about this a lot. If you are crouched or prone pressing left stick will initiate the sprint faster than relying on the auto tac sprint to initiate. Same if you are prone and want to run forward into a door. Pressing sprint even if you have auto tac on is fastest. Try diving and not hitting jump but pressing your left stick while pushing forward vs using jump. You’ll see you are back to your feet faster pressing L3 vs jump. I have thoroughly tested both. Most pros and top streamers are hitting left stick and not jumping since there is a half second delay
They might have patched it in the update yesterday I haven't tried it since. There was another way by looking to the left or right after the sprint runs out and your able to keep your momentum by hopping forward.
