Hey Tom, I know that you posted this a year ago, but man, I only now had to swap out ISP's and routers and eventual AC750, after reading hours of the manual stuff with constant fails, I swapped to your video and nailed it first time on all devices within minutes, big thanks man!
@@ayshafebin3454 what I would do is reset the TP Link there’s a little button button on that I have a video on it you can check it out and then pull the cords out on the power for your router for about a minute and plug everything back in and then start again that usually works Good luck. Thanks for watching.
I paused the internet access of the extender for a minute and when I turned it back it say no internet access when I turned on internet access on again?
You may have to reset it. There’s a little button on there that you can do that with and then run through the procedure again sometimes you have to reset your router also which means unplugging it. Let it sit for a minute or two and then re-plugging it in and then starting from scratch good luck thanks for watching.
Thanks for the video! I had my extender connected at one point but even with resetting, putting it next to the router- the Wi-Fi on the extender is blinking red . How do I fix that?
There’s a little pinhole that you can reset the extender and then start over again. You might also want to reset the router by unplugging it, and then plugging it back in.
This extender has worked great for me for several years but recently changing to a Spectrum router, a WiFi 6 Router I have not been able to connect the devices. The only button on the back that can be pressed is a reset button which does light the button below the diamond and the diamond shaped button does eventually light but I have to hold it down. Any ideas? My WiFi
I think they have an app that you can download and use. You can also reset the TP Link, and try again I’m not familiar with spectrum routers unfortunately because we only have AT&T in Xfinity here.
Can you see the Wi-Fi signal from your router modem gateway on devices if you can they should work just plug it in a little bit closer and try the procedure again after resetting it button is on the bottom
Might be what you could try is unplugging your router or modem for a couple minutes, then plugging it back in and then starting the process all over again with a reset
