How to RESET Vegas Pro to default settings

Simply hold down Shift + Control when opening up Vegas Pro (Hold it down until prompt appears) and be sure to clear all cache settings as well.
** This works on all Vegas pro versions **
- This can help fix problems such as audio glitches, not being able to import certain files, and more!

Legend!! Had nothing but problems with Vegas since I bought it and they never really helped me fix it, bought Vegas Pro 19 and now they say they don't support it when you mail for help so basically they left me with a Vegas pro that had loads of issues as they eventually stopped replying. This seems to have fixed some issues so far so hopefully it'll be ok now for the most part. Thank you so much, I really appreciate you!! 🙂

Hello... I did this restore on Vegas 18 and my issue didn't solve. All of a sudden when I right click on a picture there is no more PROPERTIES option. Also when pan and crop window is enabled, it locks, no matter how many times I hit the X to exit out it won't budge. It was working perfectly and then this. I am using a new TV. Any help would appreciated.

hey, i want to reinstall vegas pro 16 but i dont want to lose my presets anything i can do about that?

Don’t click the “delete all cached application data” box because that will remove your presets too.

I've had the same issue not being able to open MP4 files when i drag them into vegas, sadly this doesn't work :/

It worked but my GPU still doesn't show in the GPU Acceleration tab. Thanks for the info though, never would've thought that this launch combo existed without this video.
