Hi. I have just turned on passcode lock on. But when i tried to change it to normal screen lock the options are not highlighted. So i won't be able to turn off passcode lock. could you please help me out. Thanks .

The priblem is that I have mine with a lock but I am unable to see anything on the screen because it is black, although it does turn on. I am left guessing as to when or if the phone had gone to that recovery menu in the video.

I have a htc one and when am locked out with forhotten pin but when I get into the menu after press power and volume down there's no factory reset menu, it only shows boot mode, downloader mode, power down and other menu options that ate irrelavent to the factory reset of the phone , I would like to know how to get the menu on with the factory reset option along with the bootloader and downloader mode please as it shows all bit factory reset when I press power and volume down and get to the hard menu options

If you do the first or send method, does it delete all your pictures, videos, apps, etc?

I don’t want to erase my phone. I want to bypass the draw pattern. I haven’t touched my android phone in 2 years and I want to have access to it again. Too many things I still have not backed up and I need to take those out of it.

it works for entering the menu but it doesn't give me the option for a factory reset...why???

Why won't the factory reset mode show along with the bootloader mode and downloader mode when I do this and get to the menu after i power off and press volume down and power on until the hard menu appears, the factory reset option is not in the menu if you understand what I mean,isn't there another way of getting the factory reset modena appear?and by the the way I am locked out of the phone with a forgotten pattern

what if you do both of this and it doesnt work . first one just restarts phone . second one just powers on my phone when i try to hold power and volume down . so both times does nothing but restart with count down of holding on first n turn on for second :/
