Wow. Your English is amazing and really really helpful for me. I've been interested in English for 2 years, but only in last months I'm really happy to learn this language. Watching these videos and listening your beautiful British accent is one of the best ways to rest for me. And I'm learning more. Thank you so much! Kinds regards from Poland 😄
Looking forward to joining your course someday. I was really over the moon to find exactly what you've taught us in my university course, I was like: that's totally what Elliot taught us, and it really has been a great help up till now. You're really a great teacher with a fantastic accent, and I'm so grateful that I've found your videos.
Hi Elliott I'm from Italy and I really appreciate your videos and your podcast. In the first place ,I'm just 15 and they are so helpful for me.Since I started following you, my English teacher began to congratulate me for my pronunciation. So I want to thanksgive you for that;but please try to make more videos!
Hi mate ... I see yours videos from Argentina 🇦🇷.. I have been two times in London ... Lovely place.. Camden ... Notting Hill... Buckingham palace.. London Tower Bridge.. London Bridge.. Borough Market Piaccadillly Ciucus. etc etc I appreciate yours videos cause your English pronounced is awesome
I'm cool,I'm sound,I'm sweet,as a learner from China, those expressions is really novel for me,it has another meaning if we translate it into Chinese directly.
It would be interesting to listen to a conversation between two people who don’t know each other or who have just been introduced by a third person. Casual everyday English chats...... 😻 Thank you so much!
Hi. I see myself speechless sometimes when the conversation ends. I wish to have more expressions to end it in a British manner. Thank you! I love your videos!
Hello, Elliot, I am indeed happy to come accros with your course which I was looking for long time... Whatever you are explaining and teaching is so clear and simple. I have tried quite a few things to learn British accent, none successful! Learning British accent seemed to be too difficult and impossible for me before, but with your videos it seems visa-versa : it is difficult but possible!!! Thank you, I will be following your videos with a great pleasure and I hope I will catch yup your accent
Hi Elliott! Thank you very much for your videos, they help us a lot!!! As for your question - I and other students use "good" and "nice" to much - I mean we do not know enough adjectives to express our attitude to something and emotions. Thank you very much! You are COOL!
Back at school we were taught that "not bad" means stioc response to some catastrophy happening in a person's life: that either the person is dying or some of his relatives, so I tried to avoid it by all means))
Thank you so much,Elliot for making such a useful video! Recently I was getting tired of responding “I’m good, thanks” however I couldn’t come up with good alternative way for it at all by myself 😂 I’ll try to use them from tomorrow!
Considering I passed CPE I think I'm not too bad ;-) Just have a request on behalf of my students, who all study to become chefs. I think they would really love a video on kitchen slang and phrases.
Such an intelligent video. Also, like all other girls here, must say you have a nice voice 😌 I think it is a valuable and interesting topic, to expand ones daily vocabulary and change expressions from time to time. You are nice listening to and I find it easy to learn from you as well.
I have learned American english by myself at home, studying through dictionary, movies, songs and Tv series. Nowadays, I've been polishing my British english.
When you answer "I'm sweet" to non native speaker, don't forget to explain where you've got it. Cause I'm sure they will paint the whole unexpected picture about you.
Ow my God, why I never heard about you, before? I really loved this video. This accent is totally perfect. I am going to London in the next month and now, I might be not sounds so strange. :)
I'm a non native English teacher in Korea and when I ask my students "how ar u?" , they always answer me " fine thanks, and you?" Lol that kind of answer comes out automatically because in Korea, English textbook shows that answer. I think if they have any chance to see different answers, they will use those expressions. Btw your video is really helpful to teach how to pronounce correctly. Thx alot!
I feel like I can't stop repeating the words "good" and "bad". Please if you can make a video with other words to replace them, it will be fantastic. Thank you💟
see your videos from South Korea👍🏻 could you please recommend any natural teacher talk to begin the class? i cant think of anything other than like good morning class, ok class~~🥺 or any good expressions for complimenting or encouraging students? It would be really helpful if you can introduce them on your videos! always thanks for your detailed explanation and i really enjoy your videos
Thank you for you. I have 3 playlist or podcast how to telling abo.ut your joney. I am very happy what found the best teacher .Every morning I listen and learn how to pronounce words correctly. thanks for your work .
Hi Elliott. I'm a great fan of yours. Could you please dwell a little on the difference between "to" and "for" in phrases like "For/to me, it was a matter of life and death" or "Staying in shape is important to/for me"? Thanks.
I am alright when people just say their daily hellos... but I find myself stuck with questions like : What are you upto? Any plans for the weekend?.. That's when my mind goes: 'You have to think of a plan, make up one and answer nicely' and often its a quick random chat :)
You are my wonderful teacher, could you please help us with Yorkshire accent, I sometimes don't understand them particularly with colloquial language. Kind regards !
