That's why it's good to have an arsenal of replies ready to be used. It's also advantageous to map people's insecurities in case they want to start bully you. That way, the bullying won't be worth it for them.

I said that response to my bestfriend's bully & she responded with: "What?! Do I look ugly?! My mom's gonna kill me!!!!!!" I talked to her about it & now she's my friend. After that, the popular girls became nice popular girls & invited me to join them. I am now popular apparently.

I never spoke up much to bullies but when I did, it eventually started to be funny. I had a piece of tape on my uniform that said “free hugs” and people asked what it said cuz they didn’t speak English. The class clown blurted “that means they want to date someone ugly” Without missing a beat I replied “if that were true, I’d be dating you.” Even the teacher was like ooohhhhhh 😂😂😂
Unfortunately they always pick on someone who's socially awkward and quiet. Had those girls in hs and I know they talk shit about me (and others too expectedly) I just ignored them. Like, trying so hard not to interact with them at all (and they still talk shit abt me 😑)

It doesn't always work. I saw a guy showing off his jawline to another guy and the person he was showing it to said it looked like shit. And then he said "sorry, what?" Other guy: I said it looks like shit! You look like you got stung in the mouth by a wasp.

It always helps to tell them that you see right through them. Psychoanalyse them. Six more years? That’s how long it will take her to stop comparing herself to you? Because she clearly feels inferior. Like one of those small dogs - they bark the most because they feel like they have to “make up” for their size
Another way is to just zone in on a spot on their face, squint and shake your head slowly. Then act as if you are trying to not look at the spot but keep looking at it. That will make them feel self conscious, and when they ask "what" you say "oh nothing" and act as if you were caught "accidentally" looking at "something" on their face

@@Patriciuspetitegirl depends. If you're alone in your circumstances, then it's best to keep it low/no contact otherwise it will escalate into physical confrontation. These comeback sounds good ngl but really U have to evaluate your surroundings first.
I was scared too at the time but you will do just fine, I promise! It's not like how you see in the movies kids don't get stuffed into lockers and crazy things like that. It's just like elementary school but you go to different classes instead of sitting in the same one and you are no longer the oldest in the school now you're the youngest. Just be kind and friendly don't gossip smile don't worry about boys too much, your time in school will be so much happier if you have tight girlfriends so focus on making new friends in each class you have and you will do absolutely great I have all the faith in the world in you girlie ohh and remember always fake it till you make it keep your chin up and shoulders back act confident and people will believe you are!good luck

I had a friend who was told something similar. “You’re putting makeup on now? who are you trying to look good for even I don’t put on THAT much makeup” In response my friend said “Mm I see that. I think you’re brave for going against beauty standards”. Perfect response.
You can even just start saying “thank you” while laughing/giggling or smiling, do this a few times and they stop picking on you trust me its so fun to see them all confused 😂and when they ask why you said thank you or “i just called you ___ so why did you say thank you?” Just say “i know” they get confused and see that their bullying has no effect on you and they’ll eventually stop
