Brother I just wanna thank you by hitting you with a like and sub. I bought a pair of orange lobsters that had some jacked up factory stitching on the toe cap, and restorers that I was coming across were not replying to my messages. I mustered up the balls to tackle this fix by watching your video. That toe area is no joke, gotta have the patience of a saint for that. I took my time and completed the fix. Thanks from the bottom of my sole!

What did you use to whiten the midsole? Was it just alcohol?

I noticed a black bit of thread sticking out of the midsole of my elephant (atmos) dunks in between the white stitching on the outside of the midsole. so I cut it off only to realise it was the black thread that was anchoring the outside thread in place and must have been dragged through during the sewing process (only one stitch popped out). I have glued the outside white thread back into place and glued the two ends of the inside black thread to the inside of the sneaker (with very strong glue) So basically I have accidentally cut the inside anchoring thread in one place (near the arch of the foot) but the outside midsole thread is still completely intact and I have glued everything down so there’s no loose threads Do you think this will have weakened the stitching at all or or am I overthinking this? Thanks

I wonder what nike sb owner can do when there's a small bulging sewn coming out from the rubber sole gap? the sewn is connected and not cut. So you can see the sewn coming out from the rubber sole of the sneakers, not that much but wonder if this bothered you guys?

Does it take you like 1 1/2 to stitch a single shoe or can you do it quicker than that with a lot of experience?

What is the average time it takes “you”? Obviously the better you get the faster you’ll become but what is about how long it takes to hand stitch with your current skill level.?

Is there any way to prevent thinking of the uppers when you use the hot water method to separate soles? I separated the soles from the Family Forever 1s and they shrunk a bit.
