Estoy probando un Groz-Beckert 46x1 y funciona bastante bien. Sin embargo, creo que la punta es demasiado larga y el vástago que entra en la abrazadera es demasiado corto. @@meganmills6545 Let's see if there is any luck and one of the followers of our channel understands sewing machine needles and tell us if the Groz-Beckert 46x1 is the most suitable for your case or better use another one. As I said we only try to restore old machines, and I remember that on this particular machine we had a lot of problems to adjust the thread tension and I think we changed needles several times. I've just removed it (a few minutes ago), including the tension discs. I had to tap on the little pin that holds them in on my machine before they would come free. Mine are a bit dented and very, very (amazingly) dirty inside! So I am hoping that once they are nicely polished up and really clean on the inside they will work better. If you get another one you might like to try the 46x1 needle. While it is not ideal it is pretty good, and they are still being made. If I ever find out that there is a better needle available (from somebody who did not leave a comment here to tell us) I will let you know. @@meganmills6545 there are youtube channels of people who regularly sew on sewing machines, even if they are recent, I am sure they will be able to help you, because this is a common problem with both new and old sewing machines.
