I have a lot of healthy habits, but a few things I swear by: drinking plenty of fluids (especially water and green juices), getting adequate sleep, and deep breathing exercises/meditation/prayer (which are all effective at helping me manage my stress and anxiety). This is a great video. I can't wait to check out The Solar Body book!
My newest healthy habit is to practise yoga almost everyday. I love how it makes me feel a lot more aware of my body. But i'm still learning about how to have a real healthy life and your channel is so inspiring to me. Thank you !
I think you should try a vegan lifestyle which is cruelty free and also reverses diabetes and other diseases. It also helps in saving the environment. "People eat meat thinking that they will be strong as an ox, forgetting that ox eats grass" "Can you look into the eyes of an animal and say- your life is not as important as my apetite
I struggled all my life and after giving birth to my daughter last year I started Yoga for 20 min every evening. This has changed my wellness, my thinking, my emotions, my body awareness. ...everything. I am so grateful. I am also grateful for your wonderful energy you put into your Videos. Thank you from all my heart ❤
I'm in love with your channel! You've inspired me on my KonMari journey and I'm already making so much progress! I've also shared your channel with all my friends! ☺️ My newest healthy habit has been adopting a minimalist lifestyle. I aim to have time in my day (I'm a stay at home mom and homeschooler) for yoga, meditation & prayer, and some exercise! I've had such a cluttered brain for so many years, and never realized it was directly related to the amount of physical "stuff" we possessed. Thank you for all you do! 😘
My favorite healthy habit is doing restorative yoga with crystal bowls! My instructor is so amazing and has helped me to be more at peace within myself and not as stressed out and has helped me to learn how to breathe as you said in the video. Breathing is so key to de stress from a situation!!!! I love your videos by the way they always inspire me!
My favorite healthy habits would be drinking lots of water and mediating. Both took a little bit of planning on my part when I started but now it's natural and I feel much happier, have more energy, my anxiety is under control, and so much more!
I think you’re really talented. Your videos immediately make me feel better: your personality and your own way to share your vision are really helpful. Thank so much from Italy! :)
My fav health habit is meditating while it rains . Just focusing all my energy on the sound of rain brings me so much peace. The air is fresh and its such a beautiful thing. I feel one with nature which is really important for my healthy lifestyle journey.
My favorite healthy habit recently is waking up earlier in order to have time to prepare myself a delicious, nutricious breakfast before I go to work :)
That book seems really interesting! I started reading The Life-changing Magic of Tidying after you recommended it and my life has changed drastically. Ever since I lost my job a few months ago I have been in a huge transition period, healing my mind and body. I joined a gym and started eating all healthy food. My favorite healthy habit is simple: Whenever I feel my anxiety levels rising, I sip some water and then take big deep breaths and imagine myself turning into a balloon and floating away. There's something very calming about that! I recommend you give it a try! Thanks for everything Aileen, you may not know so, but you've helped me in my journey.
One of my favorites videos of yours Alieen! We don't have much other informations about it in the Internet. I am very grateful. Your talent to explain complicated terms is such a blessing!
What a great way of explaining Solar Body method on restoring health in natural way.I will pay attention to body temperature more from now on. Thank you for sharing this video.
I love your channel. It's so uplifting 💕 my healthy habit is to just breathe. I think we get so consumed by life we forget to take a deep breath. And coming from some who suffers from anxiety.. Breathing is so necessary :)
This is so wonderful! Our bodies are so much more powerful and self regulating than people think. This would explain why yoga is so beneficial. Your creating heat, focusing your breath AND your mind at the same time!
Ever since my kidney issues/kidney stones, my best healthy habit has been hot baths. You can buy special packets from Japan that replicate the mineral content of their various local hot springs. Just empty one packet into the bath and it is pure magic! I am not sponsored by them or anything, just love the restorative effect of a hot bath. Products found at home work just as well!
Exercise is great for warming your body and I know a lot of people find running therapeutic but some authors say that running in some way triggers the flight or fight mechanism and puts your body in imbalance because our body's ability to run is meant for protection. They say that's why running is so tiring, not just physically but mentally because when you stop running, your brain is telling the body that you are finally safe and you need to rest and restore. Does this author talk about this at all?. There's so much new info out there. I'm always curious.
Donna Vee Hm, I'm not sure about this! I'd like to know too, since I run almost every day. The author doesn't mention running, but he does mention something about how when the fight or flight is activated, the body needs to physically express that energy to be relieved (i.e.: running or using strength) from it. What causes all the imbalance is when Stress activates the sympathetic NS (fight or flight) and people DON'T physically exercise to exert all that built up energy. So I'll say IMO that running is not "bad" for you. Triggering the sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight) is completely natural. The key is to have BALANCE of both the sympathetic nervous system and parasympathetic in the long term -- so that one side is not completely dominating the other. But at any given moment, either one of them are in action, and that's totally normal.
After I got into a pretty bad burnout last year, I started to run more. I've never been a runner. I'm more like a yogi girl. But since I started running I found a new way to clear my head of the stress I am feeling most of the time. Also, I love to just grab some crystals and work with those. I would really love to win this book, since I cannot afford to buy it at the moment. I love your channel so much. You've been a bright light on my dark days.
I am so happy and grateful that you are being a bold advocate for overall holistic wellbeing -- that takes passion and courage. Thank you! I can't WAIT to read this book. In addition to being a recording artist, I'm also a holistic health coach and so I'm constantly on the look out for more resources and inspiration! My favorite healthy habit: JUICING! Or, actually, probably AM meditation -- every day. Every morning. I've been consistent now for over 2 years and my life has *blossomed.* (Going to go sign up for your mailing list.) Much love to you. Keep 'em coming!
i love your channel, I'm so glad I found it :) a healthy habit I started a few months ago is drinking warm lemon water every morning as soon as I wake up. i also eat only fruits for breakfast and this way I don't reach for coffee right away. the book sounds very interesting, i could use a little self-healing ♥
My healthy habit that has helped me the most is drinking a glass of water before bed, and a glass first thing in the morning. I didn't realize how dehydrated I got during the night till I started doing this. I do wake up at night to use the bathroom, but it's worth it to not wake up dizzy and shaky.
Great video! My favourite healthy habit is definitely mindful meditation, but I didn't know about the heat aspects you talked about, so I'm really interested in finding out more! :)
My healthy/mindful habit is daily affirmation. Having a beautiful phrase like "today I am completely protected and guided to my destiny" or a silly one like "I feel healthy, I feel well, every single cell in my body feels swell!" Helps me give my anxious mind something positive to fixate on. I think this helps regulate my nervous system because positive thoughts create less stress than other ones. Looking forward to the emails!
My favourite healthy habit I recently developed was drinking water first thing in the morning when I wake up and tracking my consumption throughout the day to make sure I'm drinking enough. When I was younger, I have no idea how I survived without drinking a thing but I did eat a lot of unnecessary food to make up for it.
This came at just the right moment in my life. Thank you for sharing and introducing these ideas - I'm definitely going to check out this book! I need to work on my healthy habits but I really enjoy making gratitude lists which isn't physical but it helps me get into a more peaceful space which definitely helps my body!
Hello! I'm so happy you did this video and shared this powerful idea! I have recently read about it in one book but the author only mentioned it. You have put so much effort in this video and explained it all, thank you! I will definitely search more about this as it seems that I finally found the reason why my body has constantly high temperature... For few years couldn't find the reason, and "it's your thing" doesn't convince me :D Specially if it comes with constant feeling of being exhausted. I was checking many new healthy habits recently but actually **changing my diet** was so far the best and most efficient one. In my cooking I'm trying to cut out everything that would have any of the following: glucose-fructose syrup - causes obesity, aspartame- causes tumor or glutaminian (E 621) that kills nerve cells in the brain.. and more. Every instant stuff has them or similar ingredients. I must say - I feel much better already, my hair, my skin, my mood gets better and better! But watch out: when you change your diet wait until your body clears up itself (through skin and everything..) you might fell that something bad is happening - but it's otherwise, you just need to get rid of toxins! You are the food you eat. It builds you up. I decides on your mood, your beauty, your everything.. And so far it was the hardest thing to change (for me :) ), as unhealthy and junk food is designed to be more "tasty"... Sorry for long comment :P xxx
Going to sign up in a min.My favourite healthy habit is I walk 20 minutes every morning to get some nature in me and to excise and wake up my body naturally .
I was very pleased to seek out this video-channel.I wished to thanks on your time for this glorious learn!! I definitely having fun with every little bit of it and Ive you bookmarked to check out new stuff you video post.
It's crazy how a thought can turn on our SNS on, as if we were a zebra being chased by something. The mere thought of something happening can be as bad as it actually happening that's why we are so stressed out and stuff, but great tips. As always, you are amazing, I wish I knew you better. keep doing your thing because you are not only helping me out, you are also inspiring me to work on videos, something that I had gave up on :D. My favorite healthy habit is... When I am having negative thoughts, I write them down on a journal and try to give myself advice and seeing the contrast of that really helps me a lot.
ProductionSandoval keep doing your thing! i also journal and "talk" to myself when I write, it's so interesting how you know what's best for you if you dig deep enough
I love your channel, you inspire me so much! s2 So my favorite healthy habit is for sure waking up in the morning, when everything's calm and just meditate. I meditate outside, in my backyard and I love it because it makes me feel so alive, llike the world is mine, Love you, keep it up!
Aside from eating a plant-based vegan diet, my favorite healthy habit is getting exercise outside. It's dramatically reduced my anxiety, depression, and panic attacks. Lovely video as always!
wow, this was so clear and simple - what a great video ! thanks for sharing. :) Just finished reading that book and practicing some of what you talked about - love it!
Signed up! My favourote healthy habit is probably drinking smoothies every day and doing yoga. Both of those things make me feel complete and ready to start my day :) thanks for the opportunity!
I've only been starting my day with a smoothie for about a month, but there's such a huge difference in my energy levels and my general happiness. Definitely can't go back to not having them. Sets up good vibes for the day
I signed up for your mailing two days ago I believe, let me know if you need my email again to confirm. My favorite healthy habit is going on a walk as soon as I wake up. My dog loves it, I love it, it just feels amazing to start the day with 20 minutes in nature. Also, your channel is amazing. I just reorganized my closet with some of the techniques you shares and it is so much more functional and relaxing to look at. Kindness is the best accessory, Rebecca
My favourite healthy habits are taking time to hand write things in my diary, I find it much more relaxing and thought provoking. Also I try to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep per night. I'll keep my fingers crossed! :) Amy Jane x
1.feel your body heat by keep your head cold and lower abdomen warm raise your body temperature once a day can use heat from sunlight and exercise 2.control your breathing use diagfram instead of using chest 3.observe with your mind, observe your thought and feeling
I've happily subscribed your list... If i knew it earlier would have dont by my self. But to enter this give away i will write my healhy habit too... As our brain never stops working and if you dont give anything to think about it will think by it self... So when i have anxiety, i paint coloring books for years... it calms my brain like fire stopper and i get back calm situation and invite other perspectives so i can think new solution... i accept this as a healhty habbit. and another one is very common but i try to eat at lleast 5 fruits everyday. one of them is apple. but this is must for me :) i hope i win :)
When i meditated for the first time after a few stressful months, colour became really vivid and it was like a punch in the face and i felt truly awake for the first time in a long time. another thing that happened was my language class wasn't such a struggle because my anxiety was lower and therefore i could think clearer. I meditated for an hour and a half so the difference was pronounced. Also for extra information, did you know that slowing down and healing your body elongates telomeres and therefore slows down aging? Meditation is bitchin'
Hey Lavendaire, I dunno if you read this or if you have the time to help me but I got a question. I have to write about 30 pages about a topic i can choose. I wanna choose a topic which is the purpose of your youtube channel. Inspiring other people, coaching them. I just don't know the title of my 'writing work' and i don't know how i should start writing that exactly. Maybe you have some tips for me. I would be soo grateful!!!
Thanks for your great explanation of the Solar Body Book. I use the exercises in the book everyday to keep myself healthy, mind, body and spirit. Through your sharing you are helping people recover their health in a very natural way. 2 Thumps up
Have you ever wondered what the Sun actually is? Or should I say _who_ the Sun actually is??? Did you know the word soul is derived from sol? Yes, our winged discus plate and cosmic stargate; the beginning & end of the alchemical process... Refining the soul until a shining, divine spirit of gold. Anyway, that's my goal. My favourite healthy habit? Sun worshipping! (o; (and joking)
