Thanks heaps guys, I appreciate it, I couldnt find the same 3M polish here but purchased a rubbing compound and machine polish and did it by hand, it took hours to do it by hand as I dont have an electric polisher but it worked perfectly, yes I have sore arms from it but I saved on buying new headlights which would have cost me hundreds of dollars.... You can sand to about 400 grit and finish with a 2K clear coat spray. A cheaper 1K clear coat (standard can you'd get at a hardware store) will work for a year or so before yellowing. If you just polish as shown in this video the plastic will also yellow with time due to UV light from the sun. The plastic is coated with a UV protective layer from the factory but it fails as the car ages.
Unfortunately on one of my headlights the hazing is coming from the inside of the light..and since it's not easy to open up the headlight unit I am just going to purchase some new ones.
Hazem Hammad unless you want to crack the case open (not recommended as it will never be the same after that) I’d go to eBay and buy new lenses. They’re CHEAP now!
