This video saved a brand new Milwaukee trimmer from flying across the yard.. New machine wouldn't "bump" and release line.. I tried 10 or more times to take head off and free it.. Never figured out what the "align" meant until the video or why it twisted so easily.. This video addressed all the issues.. I don't know why but I took string all the way out .. restrung it and it started working properly.. Thank you for addressing all the issues that Milwaukee failed to put into any instructions..

Nice. I had to remove head anyhow to untangle string, but then used this technique to wind it. I was also super easy to remove head just two tabs, but this is definitely the fast easy way to wind the string.

Before using it did you turn the top so the red lines were no longer in alignment with the holes?

Super easy and didn’t work. It is seized at both ends on the bobbin and can’t feed. Gotta try to remove now.
