Nice and best way to teach. Initially i thought some gora is making this demo until I heard the very familiar voice in the background saying "choriyan taiz karwa lo, kenchiyan taiz karwa lo, pressure cocker diyan washran pwa lo" 😅😅😅
@@ewanthug91 You may well not have but whoever made this video can be seen sanding the ferrule at the 5 min mark, watch the video. This looks like the first tip change (cue and tip look brand new) but after half a dozen or so the ferrule may start rounding off.
Never shape a tip like this. Scrubbing the sandpaper across the tip like this will tare the fibres of the tip. Always do downward strokes when shaping tip
Taping the ferrule to the same diameter of the tip your going to fit just so your can centre it perfectly is a waste of time, just get a tip which is bigger than your ferrule and glue it on. Your cutting the excess of anyway so it’s in line with the ferrule and then shape it how you like. It’s irrelevant if the tip is perfectly centred or not. Also sand the tip from the centre outwards - don’t go to and fro across it you’ll just pull the fibres apart
I commented on this video a while ago saying it was a waste of time taping around the ferrule just to centre the tip……….however knowing this trick really came in handy whilst tipping a friends cue yesterday l. Ferrule was 10.2mm and the Century pro tip only measured 10.3mm - I could never have centred it by hand with soo little margin for error. This method saved me from messing up a £5 tip. Thankyou for your video 👍👍👍
I use gorilla glue adhesive instead of superglue gel. Means youve got to wait 24 hours but i get a much more consistent play compared to super glue gel. Maybe you should give it a try!
It was very, very dangerous the way you removed the tip from the cue. You're supposed to lay the cue flat on a table and then cut the old tip out carefully !!!
Decent job until you went to shape the tip. Never ever shape a tip like that, by dragging the sandpaper or shaper back and forth across the tip. You will loosen the fibers on the tip and damage it. This can ruin the entire tip, but it will certainly at the very least damage it and shorten its playing time.
with all those accessories i still believe that's not a good replacement. just because it has more height i mean the tip wont be comfortable for shots...
