Hi Mark, I have been watching you for a while now and enjoy the content except when you say what to do in your 20's, I wish someone had given me knowledge back then... Now 40 I have little cash reserves, no investments and no real Retirment pot which needs to be resolved ASAP I followed my own path as the knowledge wasn't there when I was young, I've put all my money into the mortgage and at 35 had a £500k+ property paid off and mine, my hobby is car building and have good money tied up in the cars C.£100k and I see not all as not a liability as the choice of cars are investment and can be sold if I fell on hard time (some cars better than gold I feel...) Certainly inflation proof car choice on a few. I am business owner and do what I want when I want and enjoy my freedom. I do what I can to provide for my family which I am very proud to be able to do this and have time as I needed it - even if that means I have just finished work so I can have a day with family. I've always had a second job as you point out as a side hustle (I have been a busy fool at times) my side hustle has been hobby based and this has always kept pocket money there to put into hobbies, though I should have invested it looking at the advice you suggest. Next I need to invest in my retirement, I am happy to retire at 60 as I enjoy what I do, I see an interesting 20 years of making retirement happen. I need to enjoy what I do laugh and feel like I have accomplished good things. Like the people you talk about who have ran out of time, I'm employing to free my time and looking at more investments to passive earnings and as an owner of a design, engineering, manufacturing and automation company I am able to make and build whatever I want - I know I have the skills to do anything as long as it makes me happy Anyhow, thank you for the videos, I'm not sure I could ever be a millionaire in the time I have left however your videos do give good guidance and maybe I could with how hard I work however my freedom is very important - I would be able to live off state pension but I would always need to work to pay service bills so I need to work on that. I've just recently found your channel and can tell there's wisdom behind your words, and hope to achieve the level of success you have. I'm 24 and work as mechanic. I do lots of work on the side for extra money and I go back and forth about opening my own shop with intent to employ and train people to do the work for / with me. I've also started lightly investing in stocks, though my knowledge on that has much room to improve. My goal is to not have to work by the time I'm 30. Here goes

I'm almost in my 30s and I managed to put some decent money aside by working hard for the last 5 years. However, I seem to lack the ability to take that next step, most likely because I'm afraid to lose my hard worked money. I think your videos are eye-opening Mark and I enjoy the way you explaining things, but I would greatly appreciate any advice about how to progress from this stagnating position, as my aim is to retire by 40, which leaves me about 10 years. I've not long turned 30 and I've been in this rat race for my whole adult life, only recently have I started my path to financial freedom. This stuff certainly isn't taught to us in school and before you know it you're 30 and in the exact same position you were when you left school... living paycheck to paycheck. Thanks for doing what you do, I'm 19 already started working in my career of choice (computer programming), investing in mutual funds and take your advice seriously. I'm hoping to retire by 35 and I think I have a good shot because of how fast a programmers salary climbs in even as little as 3 years!
