First I’m here to learn how to re-twist my man’s dreads (he hasn’t asked me to but why pay for someone to do when I can learn how to do it) Second I love how you showed how to part it accordingly to how small and big the squares are so thank you **subscribed for sure**
Ok... this was the best tutorial for me. Looking for quick, easy, effective and quality. 3 kids with locs and family of 7 all natural...I needed this video.
Wow I've literally lost my mind on how to retwist my locs without using those painfully annoying pins. Thank you so much and what a great and swift job on your husband's locs. I will be doing my love this week.
Looks great! This is how I retwist my husbands long locs too. I just stopped using the clips on myself because I could never loop it right lol. I’m excited for your product line to come out
Thank you! I came to learn how to retwist my 3 sons dreads for school because um.. mommy doesn't have $250 on just hair alone. This was super fast & you didn't use the clips which is my biggest concern when doing it, they don't like it being that they are tender headed like your husband which is why they have locs 😅😂 thank you
Hello love the video, helpful tips, my boyfriend's locs is just like that but not as long. ? When twist his locs doesn't last very long, what can u recommend products or technique wise, cause his is very coarse very 4c, just trying to figure out am I doing something wrong, and we don't have a hair dryer, is that very important to have for locs to last. Any tips I would appreciate. Thanks
I’m not sure if this method would work for me maybe for most of the longer straight locs. It so free form mostly. I just put water and oil mostly. Overall I can do this method for my son when his hair gets longer. Thanks 😊 great video.
Hello, I have never handled dreads ever but my older cousin wants me to retwist his. They are about midway down his back and I do make my own flaxseed gel. I would like to know a little preparation I can do or some encouragement cause a girls scared 🤦🏿♀️😭
Trying to combine locs and the look like this but each time I wash I have to redo the two strand twist on each loc. How did you avoid that and did his locs finally combine?
Does the flaxseed gel leave any residue in the hair over time? Im trying to experiment with other things like coconut oil, plain water etc. but nothing holds as long as gel, wax like products. Thanks in advance!
I don't have any issues with residue. The oils that I add to the gel really helps minimize flakes. No you won't get a hold that lasts as long as a wax would (possibly a gel)They are in different categories. All natural verses products with preservative and other ingredients that help with the hold.
I think his hair looked better before the re-twist. I don’t know why people like to see so much scalp showing after giving their hair done, it looks like they are going bald. Especially in the front of his hair, I could tell his hairline will keep going back because of the gaps
Hi! In this video don't use clips to hold the new growth and keep it from unraveling. Wrapping it around itself ensures that the new growth stays nice and tight until it drys.
