You saved me. I opened it up and the spring on the bottom half sent the pieces flying. There was no diagram in the instructions that covered that portion of the lock to show me how to put it back together again. This video showed me the way...

Thank you. Thank you you. I thought it was possible to reverse it. But when I took the lock out I could see how to do it and was about to go out in search of another lock. Watch your vid and did it in a couple of minutes.

Was hoping to find this as I opened a Yale lock (inside looks suspiciously similar) and the bottom parts all sprang off like clearly happened to various other commentators on here. Thank you, hopefully this will help to put it back together again. The instructions that were included in the packaging are completely silent on this- v bad. Thank you
