I’m so happy that people like this exist. I didn’t come across this video by looking up how to do reverse tie dye (as I have looked it up many times before) I actually follow the instagram for selling these pieces. I sent a DM just asking a question about bleach, not even expecting a reply. But to get a message back within 5 minutes and with a link to show other how to do it themselves instead of a”link to shop” was very refreshing. Thank you soooooooooo much!!!
wow . wow. i have been watching tie dye ideos and trying to tie dye for 5 years. Dude! this is the BEST i mean the absolute BEST instructional video i have EVER watched! Thank you for being so generous enough to share this tecnique. AWESOME
one of the best tutorial I've seen! I deeply appreciate all the small details you included, esp. about rinsing until water runs clear + also washing with Dawn to prevent color transference. 👍
You give the best instructions ever! You give the dos and don’ts all together and the transcriptions over the video are perfect! God you’re a great artist and teacher! I always feel like I’m missing SOMETHING in a tutorial but can’t wait to try this
I'm brand new to dyeing fabrics & haven't ever done reverse dye but for the question why peroxide, Chemically, the basic solution (peroxide) with a high pH neutralizes the acidic solution (bleach) with a low pH to form a NaCl (salt), water & oxygen gas.
Thank you! I don't always need to reverse tie dye but you guys have all the steps and I can skip if I want or go thru them all. I really appreciate you guys sharing the process. All mine and my roommate's stuff turned out great! Much love!!
Why haven’t you blown up yet!! Your tutorials are amazing. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. My Christmas presents are definitely gonna be the best this year. 🙏🏽❤️
I learned my reverse tie dye watching this video and recently I have been experimenting with it on different color shirts. I've done a red and blue one so far and if you never thought to try this, I would recommend you do. They came out super cool. Another good tip for anyone wanting to try :Make sure to get 100% cotton shirts as poly blends dont work as well. Guess I cant put pics here. trust me you wont be disappointed
Dude, what a cool process and they came out awesome!! Can't wait to give this process a try. I almost threw my refrigerator rack out by mistake, lol. That's my jam too, lol. You did a great job with the video, straight and to the point:)
Axing tutorial! I’ve been wanting to do my band shirts but a lot of other videos were not as descriptive or clean and this one. Thanks for the steps and instructions, will for sure be following along and doing my own!
Awesome video, I have been doing reverse tie dye and you have some nice points in upping my game. For one, you blew my mind that soda ash is so easy to get! At walmert and Lowe's?!?! Second the hydrogen peroxide to neutralize the bleach! I have been unspiraling them, rinsing them out under water, soaking in the soda ash, re-spiraling, then adding the dye! I'll have to give your method a try! One last thing, your spiraling technique, that's pretty sweet. Thanks for the video.
