As a fellow lefty, I appreciate this. I've done the same with bass tuners. I was hoping this was about the kind of vintage-style tuners we find on Strats and Teles, with the closed backs. I can tell that I need to open the tabs by the post, but I can't quite figure out how without either damaging the machine or myself.
I don't think you can, unfortunately. The US-made Hipshots are reversible, though. www.bassstringsonline.com is probably the most affordable place to buy them.
