Thank you for this. Our users have had a serious problem that we believe was probably caused by an update to Word on 9/13/2022. Would you expect such an update is shown in the Programs and Features>Installed Features window? If not, would you expect your suggestion to work on Word-Version 2208 (Build 15601.20088)? Will this work to restore my office 2016 after the windows updates? I am locked out of a working Word because it's forcing me to "update" to office 365.
It's too complicated. How to undo updates on windows 11? min was all there but suddenly it all went from 2016 to windows 2003 after the office word updates. Any help is appreciated if anyone knows.
