Not even done English revision, hate it so much! Loved my teacher in year 9 and really enjoyed English but year 10 and 11 its just been rubbishhh I don't even know how you revise it haha
im so happy that youre also taking humanity subjects because in my school there are different paths and im taking the humanities path with english, history, economics and french and everyone is judging me because theyre saying that i wont get far in life with that path and seeing you taking similar subjects it has given me a boost of motivation to take humanities. loveyou xx

I did so little for GCSE's and A Levels and feel so guilty but I did get away with it luckily as I'm now at university. You're an inspiration to many around your age! I've just graduated high school and got my exam results back this month. Will be continuing college in either April or May (maybe even July lol) and rewatching a lot of these study revision tips to help me out for the next year and a half through college so I could get a scholarship to my university of choice. Such a helpful vid, Eve! Hope to see more of these very soon 😊❤️
My tip is that if anyone really struggled with GCSE's then A levels aren't for you! I didn't mind GCSE's and barely revised however A levels is a completely new story, so stressful and even with lots of work I can just about scrape a C maximum... definitely look into apprenticeships as after 2 years of a levels im going back to apprenticeships :) xx
Loved this, I am currently in year 10 and am preparing for my science exams in May, when you said do what subjects you want I totally agree there are some subjects that I don't like and when it comes to A Levels I know I don't have to do them, I don't care if someone says it would look good on your CV, I will do what I want. i completely agree with the choosing of your favourite subjects for a levels. i chose drama and theatre studies, performing arts, french and english language and literature and am so glad that i did. found a new passion for performing!
for science revision i strongly recommend my schools you tube channel, Westlands Science, they literally have everything there both core and additional, higher and foundation...everything.
I find it so hard to not feel guilty when I'm not working. I'm sat here right now thinking i should be working even though I've done loads this morning 😩

I'm from Ireland as well and doing the jc I don't think they have the same topics in geography and English the gsces are very different but I'm not sure

The biggest thing gcses made me realise was that no matter what your natural like intelligence level, GCSEs are all about learning facts then doing past papers, if I don't revise for a test I will get 20% maximum but just from hard work you can get a ton A*s at GCSEs because it is basically just learning. So don't worry or fret if you don't view yourself as being clever because you can get top grades from just putting the hours of work in. A levels are definitely different and you need a lot more understanding and application but if you are doing GCSEs just learn the facts, do past papers and I promise you from hard work you can get top grades! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! X

Pls just do revision videos and I would really appreciate subject specific ones maybe showing your notes you have made, any videos that help you with that subject or any websites that help you! Mr Bruff for English is bae eve have you ever watched his videos, literally analysed all the relationship poems from moon on the tides from his videos because my teacher is sooooo bad!!

MY METHOD:- I revise for 30 mins with study music in the background to help me concentrate. After 30 minutes revising I watch 2 RU-vid videos or do what I need to do for 30 minutes then revise again for a next 30 minutes and repeat. That seems to work For me :)
I did similar to this aha, but my teacher told me to do this - do 30 minutes hard core revision, and then go get a cup of tea and a chocolate biscuit, drink the tea, eat the biscuit and then do another 30 minutes, and then repeat😂 Can tell my teacher knew me very very well😂
Definitely feeling the take whatever subject you want to take rant! Because I got so many comments when I chose my alevels because I done psychology, sociology, maths and dance which is obviously such a range! And everyone used to give me shitty comments about how diverse it was and I was like well I don't know what I want to do with my life after a levels I need a wide range and yeah!
