If kickstart or jumpstart won't boost the dead battery, you can try this another method. Reset the CID ( Current Interrupt Device ). This event can happen to your battery if there is excessive cell pressure, high temperature or high voltage while using you power tool.
If this method still don't revive your battery, it might need parts replacement.
This is just my experience I want to share, I learned also from other people who shared same information about this matter.
