TIP: She recommended that you use a silk or satin pillow case to preserve your curls.. but I heard they might be expensive! So a cheap tip is to buy a silk/satin headscarf & tuck/wrap it around your original pillow case!
@Cherry Blossom oh I didnt know that! I have high porosity hair too anything hydrating makes my hair dry as the desert! Only my leave in has glycerin but it has a lot of oils to make up for it. I guess that why it doesnt do much for my hair! Thanks!

Omg mini-story time: I’ve been contemplating about going natural after I’ve been relaxing my hair since 2016 (not that long but still). I finally decided to take the plunge at the very beginning of quarantine and I’ve been binging watching your videos along with other natural hair influencers with hair types similar to mine. After all this time I feel like a true naturalista 🤩 because I’ve been using and applying most of the points that you’ve mentioned in this video; scalp massages, hot oil treatments, use of satin and I even recently tried Maui (love it btw, I used the Coconut Water Conditioner ☺️). I’ve been trimming and going along while just watching my hair flourish into curls that I didn’t even know that I could accomplish!! Thank you for everything ❤️❤️💜💜

I just woke up with my day 2 hair and it is looking nice for the first time! I suggest doing a nice hair washing routine and when you go to sleep try to sleep on a silk/satin pillowcase. I tie my hair with a scrunchie in like a pineapple on top of my head. Or you could just wear a silk bonnet.

I have honestly found that all of these good products work generally the same, it’s more a matter of finding the types of products that work for you (i.e. gels vs mousse, curl creme vs curl pudding, etc) and the way you style it makes a huge difference. And all the oils...oils are amazing.

I hope mom's and dad's see this video. My baby is biracial and her curls are so soft and beautiful but when they frizz... girl they are tangled! I found ways to help with this and breakage. I do, however, need that brush you always use on your hair in the shower. And that pink fan brush you showed is EVERYTHING. best detangler tool paired with a good detangling s/c
