@@dinazaman7418 very vaid point. valuing criticism and feedback is important for our growth. And it takes a lot of courage to “listen” and adapt. However, believing in every piece of criticism is also a sign of low self-esteem. That’s why emotional regulation & the journey within is so important 🙏
This talk is an eye opner its a problem in every ones life i know of this problem is in my own home i tried fixing it but he doesnt feel there is something wrong with him
Dr. Sid will definitely go down in history for his brilliant choice of words and framing and rephrasing sentences altogether in a better way.. kudos Dr. Sid.. there's so much to learn from you.. keep educating us
@@san19908 knowledge without the art of articulation is like stagnant water.. Takes you nowhere and stinks.. Sharing has to be done but with the correct choice of words.. Of course it is sheer knowledge but the knack of communication gives it an added bonus
Same thinking of mine as well. Such simple words put together to create gems of wisdom. There is no way we can say who is right or wrong but all this wisdom Dr. Sid said can be used as escape therapy to safeguard our self. Articulation of questions from Shobha also top notch though in the beginning felt like she moved forward without follow-up question.
Absolutely brilliant discussion..at one point it felt as if this is not a podcast for public but an exploratory discussion between viewers & hosts..bring more such episodes..❤❤extraordinary choice of words, examples
Amazing podcast and both of you have done your homework’s very well, I hope government takes steps to implement these principles in schools…. Taking examples of Bhagavad Geeta is phenomenal.hats off to lord Krishna who is making neuro science student of 17 years connecting to it
Thank you for watching & sharing your lovely feedback. I’m glad you resonated with this conversation deeply. Hope you’re watching other episodes too & subscribed to the channel 🙏😊
Wow! You talked about everything I am going through and looking into stoicism since last few days. As if you are discussing my case and concluding what I am doing is right.
Employers and all the people in leadership positions needs to be taught this. Inhumanity and insensitivity is increasing so much at workplace that people are going through lots of stress. I work in an environment where every single person is feeling uncontrollable stress. In fact in our organisation it is believed that threats increases productivity and a good person who talks with respect with others can't become a boss.
What a brilliant podcast!👏I literally made notes of it and now going to read them again & again. Navigating oneself is such an unending journey. Thank you Shobha for such an engaging content ♥️ Already subscribed to ur channel! Dr. Sid is not just brilliant, he unearths everything beautifully. His analogies are so relatable & comprehensible 😇
I’m glad you enjoyed this episode. Thanks for your support & encouragement. Means a lot!! We have many podcasts on this channel. Hope you’ll watch them too 🙏
Very Insightful, an eye opening episode! I love the way Sid answered all the questions with the details. I liked the definition of success as well which can't be defined actually and it's arbitrary. Well done!
Brilliant conversation. One of the most simple and yet massively impactful podcast that I have recently heard. @sidwarrier explained the impact of neurology on psychology and vice versa very proficiently. Shobha you're doing an amazing job of asking relevant & relatable questions. Thank you for doing this guys 🙏
Thank you so much @hariomseth for watching and sharing your kind feedback. Your love & support motivates us to bring these raw, unfiltered stories about human emotions and vulnerability. Pls watch other episodes, subscribe and share the links with your people and help us reach a wider audience. Thank you again 😊
Neurologically understanding and talking about things is 10 percent of Yogis and spiritual awakening . To reach ultimum is already written and lived by our ancestor geniuses . Thisn also refiguring things is also human quest to keep ourself busy 😅
I always says all these answers are in our spirituality , take satsangs and you will get all answers through sanatan values/ Satsangs about theory of karmas and rebirth theory ..
Hi Shobha, Thank you for such interesting talk. I liked the way you asked the questions. This is very informative. If you could please help me with personal query. I lost my mother few years back when I was 18. She died due to Suicide. I do not know why she took such step. I am unable to find any answers. I really need closure. Would you be able to provide more insight/explaination on WHY she took such step? Did she had free will? Was it her or neurons in her brain that made her take this step? Thank you
Dr. Sid is one of the best , evolved, well read, speakers. He is a man of great wisdom. He speaks with such clarity and eloquence that, one wants to listen again and again, learn and grow. Thank you for showcasing such a learned and knowledgeable person.looking forward to more episodes of talks with Dr.Sid Warrier.
Hi … it’s one of the best podcast in my recent times…you are beautiful and intelligent and he is learned and young…what a chemistry. Instead of asking RU-vid appreciation, please focus on your next podcast with him… you guys rock 😊
Ma'am really loved the whole podcast ❤ And genuine compliments on your adept way of holding pragmatic and mind wobbling conversations with guests from diverse walks of life. 🙌 I humbly suggest, rather request you to Please consider making a video or holding a You Tube webinar on a few tips to effectively start and scale up a podcasting channel from scratch. I am dead sure that it shall undoubtedly fetch you much more appreciation from those budding content creators who shall take inspiration from you to start their own podcast 😊
I wish you had deep dived into the neuroscience of depression and anxiety more. Like what are the scientific elements in the brain that show a person is depressed? Like I’ve heard serial killers have a smaller amygdala compared to normal people. Which makes them more impulsive. Something on those lines would have been so interesting. How can a chronically depressed person is neurologically different from a non depressed person. Hope he can come back and shed light on this subject.
Thank you for sharing your kind feedback. I hope you’re watching other episodes. Pls share about us with your friends & family. We need all the support 😊🙏

Hi Dr. Sid. I have a huge amount for respect for you and fun fact i am from BVI and i was in nalasopara for almost 3 years. Again you are awesome keep doing the great work🎉🎉 thank you
Truely this was very insightful and well explained podcast I've ever watched and being associates with education field and the students, I must say cbt and related subjects should be included in the syllabus.
Nice discussion .I really found it interesting as it endorsed my own quizzical mind .Thank you so much for those brain wiring facts and how Sid correlated with Geeta and , psychology and philosophy
A short clarification When the doc says it's ur pattern of thinking over a period of time that makes u react in a particular way having found it had worked in the past but what about a kid feeling immense anger
Shobha.. It's great that you let the guest speak more and clarify things even though you have a fundamental understanding of these subjects.. It's a blessing to watch these videos ❤
It is funny you should say that because this is one interview when she spoke more than the guest giving long monologues of her own. The purpose of an interview gets defeated if the anchor doesn't listen more and elicit expert opinion from the expert.
Very very informative insights & inputs from Dr. Sid 🙏🏻🙏🏻 I’m Counseling Psychologist… Dr. Srujana … Each & every word Dr. Sid mentions…is so relevant & so correct!! Therapy works !! Sooo true….. tools for everyone!! We need to teach how to process or deal with emotions!! Day in day out …. We meet people… who are blind towards their emotional state!! Profound Podcast 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you for watching and sharing your detailed feedback. I hope you’re watching other episodes too. Pls share about us with your friends and family 🙏
Brilliant podcast!! Through my quest of always 'seeking' explanation to the vagaries of our mind and a probable solution/course corrrection where need be, I stumbled upon this podcast. I am so thankful for it! You are such an ingelligent host- u shot so many questions! As for Doc Sid, any neurosurgeon is obviously intelligent. What sets him apart is his willingness to share his insights and in such a simple manner that it is effective to anyone who listens to it. So that is his super power❤.... Thanks again to you both!
Truly great job guys. This podcast have everything thing required for everyone to understand self, society and the universe and find solutions to lead a peaceful and happy life.. ❤

One of the best interviwer host I have come across. So spot on , follow up and relevant questions. Guest Needless to say. Expertise apart, the way he conveyed all these termology, technical stuff , analogies top draw.
3) If person start learing to leave in present and not in past and/or future as explained in our spiritual scriptures, having understanding about a tiny fractional journey as this human birth out of infinite journey of our selves as a potential devine soul , we will be not requiring any of above gyan for better/balance and happy life , actually absolute understanding will lead as to absolute bliss ..
Brilliant conversation. Most impressed how simply n clearly u two have touched such deep subjects. Sid is brilliant n u Shobha is so good that this talk cudnt be excellent without ur insightful personal wisdom. Beside u were looking v pretty. GBU. Hope to see more of u.
Thank you for watching and sharing your generous feedback. I’m glad you resonated with this episode ♥️. Hope you’re watching other episodes too & subscribed to the channel 😊🙏
@sidwarrier - Dr. Sid, You mention that every emotion has a set neural pattern (specific areas of brains lighting up), but then what is your take on Dr. Lisa Feldman Barrett's theory that after many research studies she and her team were not able to really pin-point a specific set of brain regions responsible or localized for specific emotion ?
He is an excellent teacher and a visionary. He should start his own school for training us because it is not taught at all regarding emotional regulation, how to handle emotions etc nor part of school curriculum and esp for military police , academies so minimize ptsd side effects.
Thank you so much Shobha , Dr. Sid is both an excellent speaker. Explains in lay msn way . That anyone can understand. He is a gem of a person. So are you as well
Hi Shobha - Please allow the guest to complete the sentence...let the guest finish the explanation! You have interrupted the guest so many times!!! You are doing a nice job in hosting such thoughtful Podcasts, if you can focus more on listening and less on responding with your immediate thoughts, that would do wonders for the audience. I wish you all the best!
