How to Ride a 2 Stroke - Wide Open KTM 250 SX 

Counter balanced, electric start and fuel injected 500 would be unstoppable lmao

Look up Brc racing… they make a 500cc engine kit thats counterbalanced for gas gas 250s, Honda 250s, and Yamaha 250s. Kaplan cycles did a test run on one of them on his channel it’s crazy fast.

Most people blip the throttle and shift up or down. Some people barely slip the clutch and shift up. The only time I use the clutch is when I’m going really slow in technical terrain riding off road, when I know I’m trying to lockup the rear wheel with the brakes, starting and stopping.

@@TalenBoudreaux.9 No, I don’t use the clutch when I shift up and only occasionally when shifting down. Been doing this with every bike I’ve owned for over 24 years and haven’t broken one yet. As long as you aren’t grinding gears you are good. It’s really simple. Next time you’re out riding, while accelerating, with your shifting foot, apply light pressure under the shifter to shift up. You’ll notice it won’t change gears. As soon as you roll off the throttle, while still applying pressure on the shifter to shift up, you’ll see that it clocks right into gear. All you need is a quick roll off on the throttle to unload the transmission, shift, then right back into the throttle. Try it in an open terrain spot to get the hang of it and then once you get it figured out I’ll be good to go.

@@TalenBoudreaux.9 Yep. You got it. You don’t have to go fast to do it. Take off using the clutch like normal. When you are ready to shift, let off, click it in gear and get back on the gas. After you figure it out, you’ll get faster at it and be able to do it fast. It’s not tricky at all.
