I'm 46 years old and just starting out on an '05 CBR600rr ! had big dreams of getting the R6 but after a lot of pondering, i went with the Cbr because it's a bit less aggressive riding position...a tiny bit more 'comfortable' lol... and it's fast af! definitely intimidating the first few times on it😊
With an R6, or any aggressive seating position bike just spend time working on back muscles in the gym and it will be easy to get use to and not a bother you. I' m a decade + older than you and the R6 doesn't bother me at all. It takes getting use to though.
Hell depending on your lifestyle and work life you may not even need to hit the gym. I have the '03 R6 module in Liquid Silver, zero mods but a Shorty GP slip on. I have a bit of a gut. 6ft 3 about 220Lbs, with an Endo-Mesomorph build. @@thefadingtheoryllc
You just have to respect the throttle. It’s only dangerous if you make it dangerous. Like he said he got an r3 and got bored of it in a month and then you’d have to sell the bike and buy an r6
I just bought my first bike a Yamaha r6 and got down the street and went to turn left but it would even turn and I got scared and crashed down a golf course and popped my shoulder out of my back.
@@stevebxr thank you man I know it will I’m itching to ride again I’m debating on riding my back as broken as I am right now. I feel better but my left arm still weak as hell
i got a question ive rode dirtbikes and atvs and stuff all that but never like a sport bike i want to get an r6 for my first one because 1 i want to ride it alot and 2 i want to be able to have power and go on the highway is it to much to start on or what do you think?
Bro just checking this out. You said this is how you ride but in the first 60 seconds of ride time you pulled into the crosswalk at a red light, didn’t use any turn signals anywhere and cut lanes while merging. This is a video beginners will watch. At least set a better example for them until they’re more experienced and don’t give a damn about the law 😂
10:25 ya know man I was all for it till you blocked both the handicapped spots right here. Now I’m just judging you from a year ago hard af. All those open front row spots but you gotta be front and center not even in a parking spot.
