Walekumsalam. I doubt if NOL recharge machine returns remaining balance in AED. But you can ask someone there if you are already in Dubai. Else go to customer counter available at every metro station and get your NOL card topped up.

Yes with 7 days unlimited pass (AED 110 for all zones) but there are conditions applied. This is only for Metro, busses (excluding some routes) and Trams.

Pls visit RTA website to see train routes area wise. Where ever you go, the charges are automatically deducted from the NOL card when you exit the metro station.

Thank you so much for liking it. For the balance refund, I never tried it but i know customer can get refund through RTA website, either in form of cash or NOL balance transfer. If the balance is above 100 AED, the customer has to apply through other RTA authorised channels (RTA Website, nol Pay application, Self Service Machines). If the balance is 100 AED or below, the station agent issues the cash refund with service fees of 2.5% or 5 AED, whichever is higher. I hope you have a safe and pleasant trip.

Hi Divya, Let me try to reply your quesries in the order you asked to the best of my knowledge 🙂. You can top-up NOL card from NOL Machines or customer service counter available at every Metro Stations . Yes, the extra amount can be refunded, if it is less than AED100, you can get reund as Cash from Customer service counter at Metro stations. If balance is more than 100AED, you can tramsfer balance to another registered NOL card through RTA website. Minimum NOL balance should be AED15 for NOL card to remain usable. You have to top-up additional amount as per your travelling needs. You can start with additional top up of AED 20 or 30, and when the balances is low, you can top-up more whenever you need. Hi Dinesh, Thanks for liking it. You only need to buy Silver NOL card if you are a tourist. No ticket required. Simply tap the NOL card on entry and exit gates.

There is no name printed. However, there is a card number printed on every NOL card which is unique number. You can note that number to identity that card for each of you. 7 days pass is good for excessive usage, i think it is 25AED for card plus 91AED for 7 days pass (pls check), make sure you select all 7 zones while recharging the card. Hi Little steps, 1- You do not need to return NOL card, you can keep it with yourself for the next trip. NOL card is valid for 05 years. 2- The balance amount is refundable, if it is more than 100 AED, the return is submitted through RTA's authorized channel provided that NOL card is personal or registered. If balance is below 100AED, you can approach customer counter at any Metro station for the refund. 3-If NOL balance is low and you need to use NOL card, you can top-up your card with minimum balance of 5AED option or more depending upon your need through NOL top-up machince (as shown in my vlog) or though customer counter at any metro station. I hope it answers your question. Pls feel free to ask.

Hi Sneha, Yes, you can. Entry to all Metro stations in Dubai is step free, HOWEVER, it may be difficult to fit your stroller on the Metro at peak times so an easy fold travel stroller is recommended and avoid morning and evening rush hours 🙂

Hi Rahul, the distance of major attractions from Metro stations varies from place to place. Metro goes directly to Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates. For other attractions after taking Metro, you may have to walk a little or take a taxi. However if you are travelling to Dubai 90% of your commutation will be through Metro because it is cheaper and easy to commute.

As for the 7 days unlimited pass we havnt used it but i have some idea about it, it is covinient option and relatively cost effective if you have to use it frequently. You can also recharge it after 7 days if you travel days extend. It covers Metro, Trams and busses but not water transport i think. Pls make sure you use it first time the day when you plan to start visiting places as the more places you cover more cost effective it will be. It should cover all zones in Dubai, just reconfirm at the time of purchasing it.

Thanks for liking the videos, it really means alot. You may get Silver Nol card at 25AED and you will be adding balance to it time to time as per your need. It depends on the place where you will stay and number of places that you will visit. NOL is used in Metro, taxis, ferrys etc.. metro is cheaper, taxis are expensive, may be you consume 100AED in a day, or may be more or less. so it all depends on your itinerary and mode of transport.

Hi Laxmi, I do not get your point correctly but i think you are asking about NOL card. You need to have NOL card to ride in a Metro, there is no seperate ticket.
