I'd love to see a video from you that shows different turning techniques, all in one video! 🙌 So flat turns, berms and switch backs (are there any other ones?!). I know you have videos on these, but a basic body/bike position, speed and pedal position comparison would be awesome. Maybe too niche, but I'd love to see that from you!! 😃

Yeah, they're was no swinging wide on the stuff we rode today. There were trees literally right next to the trail, roots, stumps, rocks, and the trail was a tire width wide. It was so narrow that is places the grass and bushes actually hid the path. It was insanely hard to ride😬

Great video! When you are pivoting the opposite direction switch your feet. The rear foot will now be able to help “push” the rear of the bike 😉👍🏼

Haha, this is a matter of contention between me and another skills coach friend - I agree with you and he says "no, it's all in the hips at the end of the day"! 😂 The only thing with switching the feet is that it can be hard to remember to switch when you're first learning this skill... and feels soo unnatural!

@@EmilyHorridge - ah yes, of course all the hip recoil comes in if needed... the line you’re riding looks ace and would only require a small hip movement. I spent a long time riding trials so learning switch is super important (just like boarding). Maybe your viewers would like to see your progress riding switch? 🤔😉 Keep up the great work and keep smiling 😁👍🏼☺️
