Thank you for your video! Helped us a lot. Just got back a few days ago. We got the physical 3 day pass card from the vending machine at the bus stop in the airport. Used the “Transit” app to give us real time bus status and route planning. CX bus was the fastest from the airport to the strip (35 mins). Deuce bus for everything else. Between MGM and Mirage traffic so congested we walked that section.

Bus fare can be paid with exact change or with the RTC app when boarding. Fares and passes can be purchased with a credit card by using the TVM machines.

There's the CX, but there is also the 109. The 109 will be the way to get you to 'The Deuce'. A few minutes away is called the South Strip Terminal, and that has a lot of buses, including the Deuce, which goes directly down the strip and then Downtown. The CX kind intersects with The strip when it goes to MGM, Excalibur portion, but then it goes to the highway, away from the strip. From the South Strip Terminal you can also take the 117 to South Point casino. And there are other buses. The Deuce is more expensive than 2 bucks, so a 24 hour pass for 8 bucks, and you can take any bus including 'The Deuce'. Also the 109 and Deuce run every 20 minutes 24 hours a day, while CX is basically once an hour shuts down after 10 PM. The good thing about the CX is there's a bus stop at terminal 3 and terminal 1. Where the 109 is only at Terminal 1. The bus in the video is the 109.

Was there in Sep & took CX Express to NYNY, walked to monorail at MGM for short ride to Linq. Took monorail & CX back to airport. Total cost was less than 1 cab ride.

Please don’t be shy about verifying that the bus you are getting on is really going where you need it to go. I have been caught in situations where buses will share a “dock” with another bus or there are mysterious changes to routes because of ….whatever. The drivers are always very helpful…and they certainly want you catch the correct bus at the very beginning of your ride! Love taking the bus to Downtown, too…just don’t forget the correct numbers. And the RTC transport app is very helpful, too!!

Are the buses handicapped accessible? I’m visiting with my disabled Grandpa next month and I’m hoping we can take the bus from the Airport to Excalibur. Otherwise it’s going to cost $50 plus for Uber/Lyft XL 🙄
