We put bamboo in ours them roll them..soaked for about 15 hours..Helps us to make sure after the cut we have not used our right hand for power.. Which when cutting bamboo will almost always show if you do. Well My Sensai is from Kochi Which is in Shikoku.I wonder if you have tried doing it this way? As always love you Vids
