In this video I show you how to to roll up a extension cord with out tangling while storing it. This method makes storing the extension cord very easy, by hanging it on a wall or just throwing it in a closet with out fear of tangling. Give it a try and let me know how it works out for you. Hope you enjoy this video and if you have any questions please leave them in the comments. Thanks again ,Please like and subscribe.

Great method! If you do this from the opposite way (start from the middle instead of the ends) you can pull out from the ends and use only as much as you need then just loop back up what you used instead of pulling it all the way out each time.

Hey guy, if you start wrapping the loops, at the other end, away from the plugs, you can tie your last loop Like you did, and then connect the two plugs ends together. Now when you want to use some of the cord, just unplug the ends. Now plug one end into your outlet, grab the last end and walk away from the outlet. The cord will only unravel as far as you walk then plug in your device. Now when your done you only have to rewrap the amount that unwrapped. I use 50' and 100' cords for everything. the unneeded part just lies wrapped up on the floor between where im working and the outlet, until I pick it up to rewrap the cord. Now show that to the world and you'll look like a genius. Also show them how well the cord hangs on a nail. That you can fit 3 or 4 cords on one nail and how well they fit in a bucket or a bag with your power tools! I'll never wrap another cord in 2 loop figure 8s or one loop around my elbow again. No way. Later. Jpol.

I was shown this years ago, by a guy that did service calls, and kept long cords in the bed of the truck. But, he just started from one end and went to the other. That way, if you have a 100ft cord, and you only need 50ft of it, you are only unwinding 50ft. You lay it on the ground and pull one end, and it comes unwound only as far as you need it. When done, just start from the point where it is unwound, and "chain" it back.
