Recipe: www.dadcooksdi... Adapted from my rotisserie cookbook: dadcooksdinner.... Rotisserie and tools used in this video: dadcooksdinner.... Special thanks to my friends at Certified Angus Beef® Brand for the beautiful sirloin roast!
Thanks for posting this, my uncle used to do this on his rotisserie and it was delicious but I never really knew what kind of roast it was (I was a kid at the time). He also basted it with something that wasn't spicy but gave the 'crust' just a slight 'tang' to it. Can't wait to get a roast and do this, thanks again!
OMG, I just found this video and think it is amazing! Great fast pace with lots of good tips. Can't wait to hit the BBQ. Thank you for sharing so much without wasting our time! 🙏
Hi Mike thank you for this great rotisserie roast cooking lesson. I am trying to save this to a rotisserie play list of favorites that i made on my account and I notice the (save ) button is not up on your video. I would like to watch this video a few more times for reference, but I am afraid I will loose it now. I saw your web site so I will book mark that.
If your ever on the go or want a small portable rotisserie grill, you should check out titan rotisserie grill. Just bought one and I love it! Only 185 shipping included.
Excellent! I especially appreciated hearing your total cooking time and it will give me an estimate of how long to plan for the cook I'm going to do tomorrow. By any chance, have you ever smoked a sirloin roast on a pellet grill? I'm wondering if it would be a good alternative to smoking a prime rib roast. Thanks!
You did this in about an hour. The roast I bought yesterday is about the same size but the butcher told me to do it for five or six hours. I’m so confused.
You have to trust me or trust you butcher, pick one and go with it. And, you should cook to the internal temperature, not time. But, five hours? For a sirloin roast? That's going to be way, way past well done.
@@MikeVrobel Results: I ended up keeping it on there for about two and half hours and ended up getting it a little past medium, and it was still nice and juicy. The sauce caramelized really nicely, almost like candy.
