This is exactly what I needed, to solve my issue. St. track1 used to get mixed up with all the tracks beneath. As you mentioned here, 4:11 group editing is the solution. Thanks for sharing this video. Have a Blessed day !!!

Only downside is some Kontact libraries have many presets and if youre trying to go through them, every time you work in Kontact, you have to make a change, then click on the instrument to see if u like the preset and repeat. The channel rack doesnt stay on the selected midi out. This also removes the ability to play and move some sliders that alter the sound IN K6

This is great. I am able to do Kontakt multi-output routing with no problem. There is one thing I am having an issue with though. Within Kontakt, the st. 1 host output instrument seems to be the only one that receives velocity and cc parameter mapping. All of my ascending Midi outs after the first instrument loaded up in Kontakt are full-velocity, and unable to link parameters individually. Uneditable. Unassignable, without removing the previous assign. For context: In Logic and Ableton, I have full control of each individual multi-out instrument within one single instance of Kontakt. Each of the Midi outs are fully functional and retain their independent parameter mapping, velocity, etc. I prefer FL though. It can really kill my creativity and workflow before I start on a project in FL, knowing that only one 1 instrument output in Kontakt is able to receive velocity or wheel-assign information. Any ideas or tips on how to resolve this would help. Thank you

I think it would be easier to just have multiple instances of Kontakt and renaming them to which instrument. It might make the channel rack more cluttered, but it's all visible in one place and easier to arrange in the playlist intuitively like you would with any other vst.

Hello! Thank you for this video but I have some problems trying to get the instruments onto the tracks. I am able to playback the instrument with the midi outlets/channels on kontakt and the channel rack. The problem however is I can't get the instrument onto individual tracks on the mixer panel on the lower half of the screen. On the kontakt panel at 3:11, under the processing tab, I am unable to scroll for the numbers under each individual channel. I also don't have the top right pitch range and track controls either. Because of that, the audio only plays through the master volume.

Question. How do you make is so you dont have to click back into fl studio after you clicked into kontakt? Like ill change some effects in kontakt and wont be able to play anything until i click back in fl studio.

Can kontakt 5 libraries play in version 6?

This helped but how do I save this setting so everytime I load Kontakt it's counted to the following Midi out? I tried the save plugin preset option but that just reloads the intruments, not the routing. I don't want to use a template because I won't be using Kontakt every time.

bootyfull... straight to the point... but one question, you assigned one kontakt player with multi midi outs so as same assigned to mixer channels, how about adding another kontakt player and assigning the map outputs to mixer? like you assigned mixer 5 to kontakt and mapout to mixer 1,2,3,4 if i add another kontakt and assign mixer 6 and what would be the mapout to mixer? from 6 to 1,2,3,4 ? that doesn't clash with existing ones?

Some help pls ,when i route more than 1 instrument the 1° plays also on the other channels (only the 1° one the rest is fine) routed everything on a other midi out ????

Great video! I have been having an issue with no audio coming from my MIDI keyboard to Kontakt, but it's definitely showing that it's processing my inputs. Audio or midi setting options in Kontakt don't show up either (as most online forums suggests changing). Any idea what the problem could be?

I can route all instruments to different mixer channels in Fl studio and play them each separately yes. But as soon as i try to tweak some parameters in my preferred instrument in Kontakt, the selection jumps from selected midi out channel to Kontakt on my channel rack and starts playing the first instrument instead. Very annoying and frustrating.. Can anyone help here?

I've followed all the steps, even in almost all the video tutorials circulating about this routing on yt the method is not much different, but why does the midi keyboard conflict between instruments, bro, so every instrument in sequence 2-16 is played, the first one follow the sound. the illustration is like this bro. in the first order (top) use the violin, then in the 7th order there is the piano. Well, when the piano is played with a midi keyboard (midiplus minicontrol), the violin sounds too. any solution? I use fl studio 20 and kontakt 6

Hello there and great video! So I have literally watched your videos or a dozen times trying to figure out what I am doing wrong. For some reason even when I follow your steps I only end up with 5 stereo channels. Even though I see the stereo channels in Kontakt it is not translating in FL Studio. I have also noticed that when I go into the wrapper and look at the processing tab I see split channels only for the first 5 outputs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! I followed your tutorial & could set up 4 instruments perfectly. Can you please help how to set up outputs for additional instruments (in kontakt) as well? I tried changing the Aux 1(1) to Aux 4(1) but it still goes to Track 3 or 4, where as I want to make it Track 5 on the mixer... Thank You
