why does the church preach giving from the old testament instead of from the New testament. Malachi was pertaining to the corrupt priest. I know that the church needs money to operate and to help others, however there is a great falling away from the churches because of the pressure of giving money. Teach them to love their neighbor as themselves and God will put it on their heart to give if they are able. I pray for God to put people in place to give what I can't. I give what money can't buy.

Good old Malachi 3 being taken out of context again. Acts 4 does not fit with Malachi 3. Now we are to give, but when we teach tithing as a doctrine, we lead folks astray because people get tunnel vision and see only money. This is why Jesus did not instruct us to preach money. We are to preach the Kingdom, then the money comes, and when it comes, the Holy Ghost instructs and prompts us on what to do with it. I love pastor Anderson, but he missed it on that money though....
