'How to Ruin Love: The Proposal' is South Africa’s latest offering on streaming platform Netflix, which is a spin-off of the popular How to Ruin Christmas series of films. How to Ruin Love follows the story of Zoleka, a frantic-in-love young lady who is adamant about proving that her boyfriend Kagiso is being deceitful. She embarks on this quest without realising that he is preparing to propose to her. The series then throws us into the throngs of humour when the two families, who are worlds apart, meet and try to merge in marriage. The film's stars include Majorie Langa, John Morapama, S’dumo Mtshali, and Tina Jaxa, with Thando Thabede and Sandile Mahlangu who reprise their roles as Beauty and Sbu from How to Ruin Christmas.
