I greatly appreciate how you emphasize the importance of team management, positive communication and thankfulness. These tend to be forgotten in stressful situations.
Great points, but the only point I disagree with is point 14... I usually have one person feeling a femoral pulse (so to not crowd head and airway team) throughout the code--they can help determine if compressions are adequate in the absence of ETCO2 or more invasive options are lacking... additionally, you can give that person a 20G needle w/ 10cc syringe and get an iSTAT to get real time labs from an arterial draw... i still have a person go for carotid pulse in addition to this individual to do pulse checks... but there are definitely more than one way of running a successful code
